Clair et Sombre - La Chine en Evolution

We like to support the arts in Speakeasy, so when we saw George Greenlee's wonderful exhibition of photographs from China, we moved heaven and earth to persuade him to show them off in Forcalquier, too.

The exhibition opened in Speakeasy on Friday, Oct 4th.

The photographs were hung and the lights were angled Just So to show them off to their best.

Scones galore were made.

Champagne glasses waited on the table...

...and the crowds came.

George took great pleasure in discussing his work with all sundry, and did several circuits of the exhibition with different groups of people.

Another successful, bilingual evening!
