Breakfast in the Square 2015

At Speakeasy we like to celebrate going back to school with a "Full English". So, on Saturday 5th September we set up our pop-up kitchen, in spite of the freezing wind, and served our Hearty Full English to about 100 bean enthusiasts.





210 slices of bacon were flown in fresh from the UK;

7 kilos of sausages were barbecued;

2 jumbo black puddings were gobbled up;

120 free-range eggs were fried;

6 kilos of mushrooms were sautéed;

100 tomatoes were grilled;

20 cans of Heinz Baked Beans were consumed...

and 120 slices of bread were toasted.

Umpteen American Pancakes were flipped and drizzled with Maple Syrup and 

innumerable batches of scones were lovingly kneaded, baked and enjoyed by all!
